With the arrival of the cold season, we become increasingly concerned about providing heating in our homes, because our health also depends on our comfort in the house. That is why it is necessary to choose the best heating methods. You need an efficient heat source, and possibly one that consumes little, to ensure thermal comfort inside the home.
One such source of heat that works quickly, but temporarily, is the air heater. A very suitable solution is the electric air heater for household use if you want to heat your home or the industrial type air heater in the case of a very large heating surface or a commercial space. On the market, for industrial air heaters, there are not only electric models but also those that use fuels, diesel or LPG, i.e,. liquefied petroleum gas.
How to choose a good-quality air heater
The electric fan heater is very easy to install, because you only need a socket near the place where you want to place it. It is easy to move, being a portable fan heater you can take it where you need it, using the wheels provided. To put it into operation, you do not have to make a flue, and the heating process can start as soon as it has been turned on, you do not make a mess in the room and do not emit unpleasant odors. The cost of a fan heater is not high, which is why it is more cost-effective than other solutions for household heating.

The heating system is taken into account. Electric fan heaters work by convection or ventilation. Electric fan heaters with convection are usually recommended for smaller rooms, because they first heat the objects in the room and then the air. They have a silent operation, so they can be used successfully even at night. The heat emanating from the internal resistance is easily released into the room.
Electric fan heaters with ventilation are recommended for large homes or industrial spaces. They generally have a higher power than convection models, 3000 W compared to 1500-2500 W for convection models. They operate on the principle of propagating the heat emanating from the resistance, with the help of a built-in fan. Models that operate through ventilation make more noise than convection ones, but heat the air in the space in which they are located much faster.
Take into account the space you want to heat. If you want to ensure thermal comfort in a room of a house of at least 20 cubic meters of air and at most 40 cubic meters of air, use a household electric fan heater, with a power of 1500-2500 W. It is preferable to focus on a power of close to 2500 W for better efficiency. If you have a room that is not very well insulated or a space of over 30 square meters, the most suitable would be an industrial fan heater with a power of at least 3000 W.

Consider the maneuverability offered . A good choice would be a fan heater with a compact model, so you can easily move it from one place to another. A small device will not take up any space, so it will not clutter up the room too much. It should be equipped with handles and wheels are also useful for easy transport. If you plan to heat a humid room, such as a bathroom, choose a fan heater that is equipped with moisture protection.
Take into account the type of installation. The fan heaters on the market can be fixed fan heaters and mobile fan heaters. The fixed fan heater, as its name suggests, can be mounted on the wall, that is, a wall fan heater, being an optimal option for small rooms, where the traffic space must be maximized, but also a solution for those who want a clean, simplistic space without many things around. The mobile fan heater or portable fan heater does not require installation, but is easily positioned on the floor of the home. If you want to move the fan heater to another room, all you have to do is push/pull it, using the handles and wheels it is equipped with.
Wall-mounted air conditioners are similar to air conditioners that also have a heating function. It is preferable that when purchasing air conditioners, we choose a model with heating, as much as possible, which can be of great help during the cold period until the central heating is turned on.

Take into account the type of resistance. It can be made of metal, ceramic or quartz. From many points of view, air heaters with ceramic resistances are considered the most efficient and durable, quartz heaters with quartz have the disadvantage that the interior is red, due to the halogen, so they can be disturbing at night.
Take into account the functions it has. For easy use and for the most comfort, choose a model of air heater with multiple functions, which offers higher comfort, better efficiency, and also increased protection against unpleasant events. The ventilation stages allow you to select the heat intensity, temperature and flow. It is recommended that the air heater have at least 3 stages of adjustment of the ventilation speed and the released temperature, in order to be able to control the electricity consumption. The frost protection system is very useful if you intend to place the device in a room that is not permanently inhabited.
Models that also have a cooling function can be used to reduce the temperature in the room in the summer, and thus you will not use an air conditioner if it is a small room. The light indicator helps you know exactly when the fan heater is in operation, and you will not leave it running when you leave home. For increased safety, most fan heater models also have a built-in thermostat. Anti-fall protection turns off the power if the fan heater is not positioned correctly. Remote control versions are easier to use, as they allow you to coordinate them from a distance. The timer is very useful, especially for those who want to find the room warm when they get home.

Part of the category of the cheapest and most advantageous heating methods, fan heaters are also very practical. In addition, compared to other heating products, they have the advantage of heating larger spaces easily and quickly. We can mention here, however, a disadvantage of fan heaters, namely, drying the air. This problem can be solved very easily by placing a small bowl of water in the room or using a humidifier to regulate the humidity.
